Metabólica
Halyburton Fuster, Kimberly
This diary begins when life is in danger. Valparaíso besieged by the plague witnesses how a girl and her mother cling to life, improvising ways to cope, assuming distance as a rescue, or measuring well-being in numbers. In parallel to the record, the infinite amount of medical waste is redefined by a technique that heightens the strangeness of those documents, contrasting with the warmth and significance of Kimberly Halyburton's prose. In raising children, these texts with minimal letters are accepted. Metabólica allows us to honestly access a private world that is shared with others.
