Historias de la fotografía del siglo XXI
Blanco Pérez, Manuel & Parejo, Nekane (Eds.)
Photography - as a language of knowledge and recognition of the world - is a mature art. Eccentricity of chemistry in its origins, throughout the twentieth century photography was a notary of reality, avant-garde and icon of modernity elevated to the category of Art. The twenty-first century has buried certain?, cultural? visual logics that prevailed a short time ago. Histories of Photography in the 21st Century delves into the social uses - and networked socio-digital ones - and the cultural logics that affect the photographic fact and act in the digital era. The academics who are the authors of this edited collection hope to meet some of the expectations of researchers, professionals and amateurs of the image in order to think about our twenty-first century ‘from the photographic'.
