The liquid is the shadow is a documentary photography project that reinterprets images taken in 1977 during an Argentine Antarctic campaign. The climatic, social, and psychological conditions experienced in that region of the planet serve as a mirror for the situations astronauts may face in space. With this premise, the author investigates the intersection between aerospace activities developed on the white continent and the Argentine campaigns that have been carried out continuously since 1904.
