Experimentarium: consolidation of a model and opening to the city After the height of the pandemic, we expanded the festival to include the Nau Bostik, a prominent place in the city, with the aim of recovering our international vision and engaging with the local community. With the participation of 44 artists from around the world, 6 group exhibitions, 56 in-person workshops, 5 online workshops, 37 conferences and 6 portfolio reviews, we welcomed 210 in-person and 143 virtual participants. With more than 360 collaborators, the festival prospered, promoting experimental photography in Barcelona. As a complement to the festival, we offered 4 free workshops and kept 6 exhibitions open for a month so that Barcelonans could explore them at no cost. We produced a catalog with Experimentarium, a game and a theoretical book with contributions from theorists from all over the world. In addition, we created a photobook prize, selecting 4 winning projects for printing and presentation in 2023. Managing almost 38,000 euros, the festival supported the participating artists. 44 artists. 55 face-to-face workshops. 5 online workshops. 6 views of horizontal portfolios. 37 conferences and discussion spaces. 210 in-person participants. 143 virtual participants. +35 countries
