The world's first experimental photography festival was held in two esteemed institutions in Catalonia: the Institut d'Estudis Fotogràfics de Catalunya, with 51 years of experience, and the Center Civic Pati Llimona, specialized in photography since 1991. Despite the risk, Interest was overwhelming, with tickets selling out months in advance for the three-day event in January 2020, attended by 160 participants from around the world. The inaugural year featured 18 workshops, 21 lectures, a photography excursion, late-night dinners and a party on Saturday. The festival managed almost 18,000 euros, from which artists, venues and suppliers benefited. Satisfaction surveys revealed an average rating of 9 out of 10, affirming the success of the event and its positive impact on the participants.44 artists. 19 workshops. 21 conferences. 230 participants + 30 countries.
