About the workshop
This workshop taught by Gal Wachs aims to bring you closer to the different techniques of experimental photography in instant format, knowing first-hand the most fantastic techniques to get started in the world of creative photography. It begins with a brief explanation with space for questions about the technical diversities, and then activities such as transfer lifting and double exposure with Polaroids are carried out so you can do them at home.
Your teacher
Gal Wachs @galwachs
Photographer, filmmaker and artist, he was born in Haifa (Israel), but lives in Barcelona. He is fascinated by the artisanal techniques that have been lost over the years, which is why he recovers manual and classic works such as craft beer, felting, drip coffee or kombucha, or technologies that have come from styles such as Polaroid cameras or record players. He does analog photography because he is interested in experimenting with the resulting images, which have textures, depth, colors and aberrations typical of analog processes.
